[Chicago] Joe's Seafood, Prime Rib, & Stone Crab

Image Hosted by ImageShack.usLocation Review:
60 East Grand Ave.
Chicago, IL 60611

The story of Joe's starts in Florida almost 100 years ago in 1913, when Joe Weiss opened up a small lunch counter on Miami beach. This iconic beach-side spot established its claim to fame through their Florida stone crabs. In fact, before Mr. Weiss, nobody even knew that stone crabs were edible. With it's huge success, two more locations have surfaced, one being in Chicago. Drawing its reputation from the original location, the menus are almost identical, allowing patrons to experience the Floridian jewel of a restaurant without the long flight down south. Anywhere there is great seafood, count me in!

[Hong Kong] Hung Kee Seafood Restaurant (洪記海鮮酒家)

Hung Kee Seafood Restaurant (洪記海鮮酒家)
西貢海旁廣場兆日大樓地下6號及9-10號
Shop 6; 9-10, G/F, Siu Yat Building, Sai Kung Hoi Pong Square, Sai Kung

Sai Kung is an well known area for having seafood. Sai Kung Town was once a fishing village, and despite the fact it's more modernized now, the harbour is still a place where much of the seafood served at near by restaurants are caught. The restaurants are situated on a street all along the harbour, and due to the proximity, the street definitely reeks of fish and salt water. But that's a small price to pay for the delicacies that are served. Amongst the many restaurants, we end up going to Hung Kee Seafood Restaurant based on friend referral. I love walking by each restaurant and just gazing at their gigantic tanks of seafood on display. It makes ordering easy too; you can literally point to the specific one you want and specify how you want it cooked. Since you're picking ingredients on a hungry stomach, you can bet you'll more than likely over order -everything looks so tasty!

[Toronot] Marquis Lounge and Bistro

Location Review:
92 Peter Street
Toronto, Ontario
(Major intersection: Adelaide St. W and Spadina Ave)

Not too long ago, my company held an employee appreciation event offering some discount tickets and vouchers to certain attractions and restaurants. I ended up picking one up for Marquis Lounge and Bistro for $10 which came with four 50% off dine in vouchers. The restaurant is actually located on the 2nd floor of a Hilton hotel. Walking into the restaurant you will notice
