Located in West Hollywood, The Griddle Cafe (@thegriddlecafe) is sure to be something special if you're looking to have a memorable meal. While they have an attractive lunch menu of sandwiches, salads, and burgers, my four friends and I came here for one thing, and one thing only: the all-day breakfast menu. Notorious for their one-of-a-kind pancake creations, one can satisfy both breakfast AND dessert cravings with flapjacks and/or french toast covered in chocolate chips, butterscotch, Nutella, Oreos, or even punpkin pie filling.

During my Easter weekend in Chicago, I had the pleasure of staying at The Wit hotel, right in the heart of Chicago's theater and business district. Beautiful rooms, friendly staff, and delicious cookies at the check in desk whenever you crave them! Anyway, the State and Lake Chicago Tavern is the restaurant located in The Wit hotel (@theWitChicago), and serves up pub and bistro inspired food. To maximize our time experiencing the city, my friends and I ended up eating breakfast here one morning.

As a first meal of the first day in Hong Kong, Rob and I decided to have a Hong Kong style breakfast in the plaza below my appartment. Just like the name of the restaurant may hint, this place is less of a restaurant and more so fast food. You order, get a chit, pass your chit to a lady behind a food counter which resembles a cafeteria serving station, and then wait for your food to be made.
